A complete software synergy: Libellula.CUT and Libellula.BEND
To meet this challenge, DICTATOR has implemented an integrated suite covering the entire spectrum of the process CAD/CAM.
The technological heart of the cutting department is Libellula.CUT. Thanks to this software, the company now programs its laser machines with surgical precision. The high level of automation and precise automatic nesting have enabled DICTATOR to maximise material savings and reduce processing time for the operator. The system ensures a smooth process thanks to collision control, automatic cutting path correction and nesting optimisation, which reduces sheet wastage even on irregular cutouts.
At the same time, for the management of CNC press brakes, we introduced Libellula.BEND. This application allows the import of 3D and 2D models, automatically identifying the best bending sequences based on the actual equipment available. Through an integrated 3D simulated environment, DICTATOR obtains ready-to-run bender programs and detailed reports (PDF) for the shop floor, as well as DXF development and assembly decomposition.
Thanks to the automatic connectors, the developed DXFs directly access the icon library of Libellula.CUT.
