href=\"https:\/\/libellula.eu\/en\/software\/libellula-bend\/\">Dedicated CAM for offline programming of CNC press brakes<\/a>, was created with precisely this goal in mind: to transform a 3D or 2D model into a ready-to-run machine programme, quickly, safely and optimised on the actual tooling.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to the import of the main CAD formats and the <strong>development calculation based on the tools actually used<\/strong>, the software<strong> automatically identifies the best folding sequences<\/strong>, <strong>generates documentation<\/strong> for the workshop and <strong>produces folding programmes<\/strong> ready to use, all within a simulated and controlled 3D environment.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/libellula.eu\/en\/software\/libellula-bend\/\">Libellula.BEND<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0evolves further with\u00a0<strong>new Variable file naming in MultiSave:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is now possible to dynamically define the name of files saved with MultiSave by combining customised text and available variables representing characteristics of parts, machine, material, etc.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This makes it possible to automate the naming of files according to the class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not only the detection of these features, but also the output in DXF files is now fully configurable.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using correct layers and line types, 2D CAM software can automatically handle these machining operations by applying the appropriate technology.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on which side of the sheet metal the part is developed on, these features may or may not be visible in the 2D window of the developed plane.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They will always be visible in the 3D views and DXF generate the correct developed plan.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously, tools had to be selected manually; now it is possible to automate the process by defining preferred tools for any combination of material and thickness.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The settings can be found in:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Options - Unfold - Apply Tools<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only available with licence\u00a0<strong>Unfold Pro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If BendSim\/BendSim Pro is used, the settings are defined for each machine in\u00a0<strong>Machine Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"h-migliorato-il-rilevamento-degli-smussi-foro-su-entrambi-i-lati\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>- Improved detection of hole chamfers on both sides<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Holes with chamfers on both sides of the sheet metal are now detected and correctly reported in the DXF file.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously, a chamfer on only one side per hole was permitted.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 id=\"h-3-bendsim\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. <strong>BendSim<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<h3 id=\"h-ulteriore-miglioramento-del-calcolo-dei-tempi-ciclo\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>- Further improvement of cycle time calculation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The function for calculating handling times during bending has been improved with new configuration possibilities for greater accuracy.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The improvement is particularly noticeable when working with a wide range of thicknesses, for which settings for multiple thickness ranges can now be defined.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The settings can be found in the\u00a0<strong>Handling<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0<strong>Machine Settings<\/strong>\u00a0and use the thickness intervals defined in the\u00a0<strong>Material Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"h-nuovi-algoritmi-per-il-calcolo-dei-set-up-utensili\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>- New algorithms for calculating tool set-ups<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This allows:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Better set-ups<\/li>\n\n<li>Smarter<\/li>\n\n<li>Faster<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It also allows for future developments with additional functionality.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the new algorithms, set-ups may be slightly different than in the past in order to:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reducing tooling times<\/li>\n\n<li>Simplify part bending<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 id=\"h-impostazioni-di-posizionamento-dei-pezzi-per-macchina\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>- Workpiece positioning settings per machine<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Positioning settings (which side of the workpiece should be towards the inside of the machine) can now be defined on a per-machine basis and not just at a general level.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Especially useful when using machines with very different characteristics.<\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"h-supporto-diretto-per-controller-cybelec-cybtouch\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>- Direct support for Cybelec CybTouch controller<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Control\u00a0<strong>Cybelec CybTouch<\/strong>\u00a0has been supported by Libellula.BEND for some time, but until now it was necessary to use a converter to obtain the correct format.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now this is no longer necessary: CybTouch programmes can be generated directly from Libellula.BEND.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CybTouch control is selectable in the list of NC outputs available in the\u00a0<strong>Machine Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"h-supporto-per-sistema-di-misurazione-angolo-lvd-easy-form-laser\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>- Holder for LVD Easy-Form\u00ae Laser angle measuring system<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Libellula.BEND can now programme the angle measurement system\u00a0<strong>LVD Easy-Form\u00ae Laser<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The measurement can be programmed automatically or manually, and programmes sent to the Touch-B control will include all the information required to use this functionality.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 id=\"h-4-batch-amp-remote\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. <strong>Batch &amp; Remote<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img parts<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Major improvements in processing speed have been introduced when using multiple parts with Batch &amp; Remote.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parts are now processed simultaneously, optimising the use of available hardware resources.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The number of parts processed simultaneously depends on the available hardware, so the level of improvement may vary.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Savings of up to 70% in processing time were found in the tests.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The multi-processing function is only available with licences\u00a0<strong>E-license<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">USB licences do not support multi-processing.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5df10b2 elementor-align-center elementor-widget
